Escharoides excavata (MacGillivray, 1860)

Escharoides excavata is found in the Recent of southeastern Australia. This species appear to have a small local distribution, and most records of it are apparently of different species.

Original description: Lepralia excavata MacGillivray, 1860
Locality: Port Phillip Heads (?)
