Acanthopora d'Orbigny, 1849

Type species: Chrysaora spinosa Lamouroux 1821 (not Michelin, 1843)

This genus includes the species:

The type species is now considered to be a neuroporid demosponge. (Kazmierczak & Hillmer, 1974. Acta Palaeontologica Polonica 29: 443-453)

However, the list of species below have been assigned to Acanthopora, and some will be bryozoans. Any helpful comments about these taxa would be appreciated
