Patinella Gray, 1848

Type species: Madrepora verrucaria Linnaeus, 1758

The long-forgotten genus Patinella includes most Recent species of adnate lichenoporids formerly included in Lichenopora . It appears to be largely Northern Hemisphere in distribution.
