Type species: Onychocella solida Nordgaard, 1907
This genus includes the species:

The distinction between Smittipora and Rectonychocella is not clear: most authors consider them as synonyms. It is probably not possible to recognise this genus as distinct from Onychocella in fossil material. Until a complete revision is made, the species described as Rectonychocella are here referred to Smittipora, with the exception of the type species.
